ToMa is the stage name of Tomislav Marić, a Croatian singer born on October 29, 1997, in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He developed an interest in music early, studying guitar and performing from childhood, including a significant early performance in front of a large crowd at a stadium event. ToMa began his musical journey in the public eye through his participation in The Voice Hrvatska, where his vocal talent first reached a wide audience. He released his first single in 2017 and over the following years cultivated a pop and R&B style marked by catchy melodies and emotionally direct lyrics about love, relationships, and personal experiences. His song “Ocean of Love” brought him wider attention when he performed it at Dora, Croatia’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, earning a high placement and helping solidify his presence on the contemporary music scene.
