The Siids

The Siids are an electro duo from Rijeka, founded by Darko Terlević and Stanislav Grdaković. Prior to forming The Siids, both artists were active in various musical projects—and this duo represents the natural evolution of their joint musical vision. The band’s creative work is rooted in introspection and a conscious engagement with the outer world. Their sound features electronic beats, immersive atmospheres, and a thoughtful approach that reflects lived experience rather than purely commercial appeal. Their debut album Brutalist delivered a cohesive artistic statement and earned critical and public acclaim. The single “Beats Running Down” won Best Song & Video at the RI Rock 2019 awards, and the band received several nominations at the Rock&Off awards. Releasing the album on vinyl underlined their commitment to artistic form and aesthetic. They place strong emphasis on visual identity—music videos and photography executed with deliberate atmospheric and stylistic focus. The Siids have performed live and announced a sophomore album for spring 2022, with festival appearances such as Let’s Rock on the fortress of Sv. Mihovil in Šibenik along the way. The Siids demonstrate that electronic music can be both profound and emotive, merging refined production with a genuine artistic voice.
