Tanja Savić

Tanja Savić is a Serbian pop-folk and turbo-folk singer, born on March 20, 1985, in Radinac near Smederevo. She first gained public attention in 2004 as a contestant on the debut season of the singing competition Zvezde Granda, where her third-place finish helped launch her professional music career. Shortly afterward she signed with a major record label and released her debut album Tako mlada in 2005, featuring hits that established her as a compelling new voice in regional music. She followed this with subsequent albums, including a self-titled release in 2008 and Sestre po suzama in 2009, with songs that resonated widely across the Balkans. Some of her tracks were featured in film soundtracks, and she performed at numerous concerts, television appearances, and festivals, building a strong performance profile. In 2014 she took part in a television show where she performed as various international singers, showcasing her vocal versatility and stage presence. After a period of relative inactivity and time spent abroad, she successfully rejuvenated her career through collaborations with popular rap artists and the release of a well-received EP. In June 2024 she released her fourth studio album Lečim se životom and launched her first regional concert tour, titled 20 Years with Tanja Savić, which opened with a sold-out show in Belgrade at the end of 2024. Her live performances are noted for their emotional intensity and strong vocals, reflecting two decades of artistic development and enduring impact on Balkan pop-folk music.
