Ramón Vargas is one of the most renowned and respected tenors of today, known for his exceptional technical skill and emotional interpretation. He was born in 1960 in Mexico City. He began his musical career as a boy soprano and later trained in operatic singing.
He gained international fame in the mid-1980s through victories in prestigious competitions and key operatic roles.
