Biography - Queens of the Stone Age
Queens of the Stone Age is an American rock band formed in 1996 in Palm Desert, California. The band was founded by guitarist and vocalist Josh Homme, who remains its only constant member. They are known for their unique sound blending stoner rock, alternative rock, and hard rock. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1998, but they gained international fame with Songs for the Deaf (2002), featuring Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) on drums. The band is known for frequent lineup changes, collaborations with other musicians, and an experimental approach to music. They have released several successful albums, including Lullabies to Paralyze, ...Like Clockwork, and In Times New Roman... (2023). Prvi dan koncerta Queens of the Stone Age me je oduševio i pomalo iznenadio. Sve je super počelo, ali Josh je malo bio nervozan zbog nekih tipova koji su se naguravali i slali poruke na mobitel. No unatoč tome brzo se je vratio i nastavio svirati sa željom da mi što više plešemo.
Drugi dan set lista je bila ipak drukčija. Odsvirao je pjesme po željama fanova koji su mu upali u kadar, ovaj put bez njegovih loših komentara, ali uz naglasak da oni nisu Foo Fighters bend 😆

Kada je ovaj koncert bio najavljen te na kraju odgođen 2024. s jedne strane sam bila sretna. Da ne objašnjavam cijeli niz događanja iz mog života, reći ću samo ukratko da nisam kupila ulaznice za prvi dan na vrijeme jer nisam imala s kime ići na koncert i nije mi se baš dalo sama putovat iz Istre do Zagreba. Onda sam upoznala ekipu koja je već imala ulaznice za prvi dan, ali je bilo prekasno jer su bile rasprodane. Na kraju odgoda oba koncerta zbog zdravstvenih problema gospodina Hommea. Naravno...
