Queen + Adam Lambert is a musical collaboration between the British rock band Queen and American singer Adam Lambert, started in 2011. The project began after Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor performed with Lambert during the final of the American talent show American Idol in 2009. Their first joint appearance was at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast in 2011, and by 2012, they held their first full concert in Kyiv. Since then, they have undertaken several world tours, including tours in 2014–2015, 2017–2018, and The Rhapsody Tour 2019–2024. The core members are Brian May (guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and Adam Lambert (vocals).
This collaboration was not intended to replace the legendary Freddie Mercury but to honor his legacy. Lambert is known for his impressive vocal range and energetic performances, which have helped preserve and reinterpret Queen's music for a new generation of fans.
