Pavel

Pavel is a Zagreb-based pop-rock band formed in 2006, known for emotional songs and rich arrangements. The band’s founder, lead vocalist, and songwriter is Aljoša Šerić, who was previously active with the group Ramirez. From its inception, Pavel has stood out for blending elements of pop, rock, folk, and chanson, creating an authentic musical expression with poetic lyrics and warm melodies. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2007, set the tone for their artistic direction—sophisticated music with a lyrical focus on love and everyday life. This was followed by the albums "Od prve zvijezde ravno" (2012), "I mi smo došli na red" (2014), "Družba krivih odluka" (2017), and "Ennui" (2020), each receiving critical acclaim and solidifying Pavel’s place in contemporary Croatian pop music. Songs like "Poslije nas," "Vrijeme života," "Lažu devedesete," and "Bijela jedra" are noted for their emotional depth and strong artistic identity. Over the years, the band’s lineup has evolved, but the quality and recognizable sound have remained consistent.
