Partibrejkers is a Serbian rock band from Belgrade, formed in 1982. The founding members were Zoran Kostić "Cane" (vocals), Goran Bulatović "Manza" (drums), Nebojša Antonijević "Anton" (guitar), and Ljubiša Kostadinović "Ljuba" (guitar). From the start, they have been renowned for their energetic blend of garage punk rock, blues, and rhythm & blues.
Their debut album, Partibrejkers I, was released in 1985 and featured tracks like “Ulični hodač,” “Ona živi na brdu,” and “Stoj, Džoni.” Their sound—emotional, raw, and direct—quickly resonated with audiences across former Yugoslavia. Over the years, they've released several albums including Partibrejkers II (1988), Partibrejkers III (1989), Kiselo i slatko (1994), Ledeno doba (1997), Gramzivost i pohlepa (2002), Sloboda ili ništa (2007), and later Sirotinjsko carstvo (2015).
Their discography also includes two live albums (Zabava još traje and Krš i lom), two compilations, and a revered single “Hiljadu godina/Večeras.” Despite numerous lineup changes, the duo of Kostić and Anton remained the band's heart and soul.
Partibrejkers have cemented their cult status through charisma, socially engaged expression, and anti-war projects like Rimtutituki. Their live performances remain powerful and emotionally charged, reaffirming their enduring legacy in the regional music scene.
