Biography - Papa Roach
Papa Roach is an American rock band formed in 1993 in Vacaville, California. Founded by Jacoby Shaddix (vocals) and Dave Buckner (drums), they were soon joined by Jerry Horton (guitar) and Tobin Esperance (bass). The band gained international fame with their 2000 album Infest, featuring the hit "Last Resort"—a song that became an anthem for a generation and a symbol of mental health struggles. Over the years, Papa Roach evolved from nu metal to alternative rock, maintaining an energetic style and heartfelt lyrics. Albums like Getting Away with Murder (2004) and Ego Trip (2022) showcase their adaptability and continued relevance.
