Obojeni Program

Obojeni Program is a Serbian alternative rock band from Novi Sad, formed in 1980. They are considered pioneers of the Serbian alternative scene, known for their distinctive sound that blends post-punk, new wave, art punk, and alternative rock. Their debut album, Najvažnije je biti zdrav (1990), laid the foundation for their recognizable style, and the album's title serves as an acronym for their hometown, Novi Sad. The band is noted for forming an acronym of their city through the first letters of their album titles. Over the years, the band has undergone numerous lineup changes but has been led by Branislav Babić "Kebra," the only constant member since its inception. The group has gained cult status in the former Yugoslavia and beyond, performing at numerous festivals and concerts across the region. Their influence on the alternative music scene remains strong, with songs like "Nebo, nebo plavo je" and "Štipaljka" still regarded as classics of the genre. Obojeni Program continues to actively perform and release music, maintaining its position as one of the most important bands in the regional alternative scene.
