New Kids On the Block

New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) is an American pop group formed in 1984 in Dorchester, Massachusetts. The band members are Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, and Danny Wood. Although their first album in 1986 went largely unnoticed, the group gained major popularity in 1989 with the album Hangin' Tough, which included hits like “You Got It (The Right Stuff)” and “Step by Step.” Over their career, they have sold more than 80 million albums worldwide. After a brief breakup in 1994, NKOTB reunited in 2008 and have since continued to record new albums and perform live. In 2024, they released their eighth studio album titled Still Kids, their first in eleven years. During this period, they also embarked on a major tour called the “Magic Summer Tour.” In 2025, they began their first Las Vegas residency named The Right Stuff Las Vegas Residency. New Kids on the Block are known for their energetic and vibrant performances as well as their strong connection with their fans, known as “Blockheads.” Their influence on 1980s and 1990s pop music was significant, and they continue to attract audiences worldwide.
