Mišo Kovač, born Mate Kovač on July 16, 1941, in Šibenik, is one of the most famous and beloved Croatian pop singers. His career spans several decades, and with his emotional songs and distinctive voice, he has earned the status of a legend in the Croatian and regional music scene.
He began his music career in the late 1960s, achieving great success with ballads expressing strong emotions and love for Dalmatia. His most famous songs, such as "Više se nećeš vratiti," "Dalmacija u mom oku," and "Molitva za domovinu," have become evergreen classics still cherished today.
