Meena Cryle

Meena Cryle is an Austrian blues singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born in 1977 in a small village in Upper Austria. She grew up in a musical family where singing and music were a natural part of daily life. By the age of 15, she had already formed her first psychedelic blues-rock band. After studying and working at a women's shelter in Mozambique, she traveled across Europe and North America before settling in Vienna. There, she signed her first management contract, formed a band, and began performing regularly with various musicians. Her musical style encompasses soul, blues, rock, and gospel, and she is known for her powerful and emotional live performances, which have earned her a loyal fanbase throughout Europe and the United States. She has performed at numerous festivals and concerts, and her albums have received critical acclaim. Meena often performs as a duo with Chris Fillmore, with whom she has recorded several albums and toured worldwide. Together, they are recognized as outstanding performers in the blues scene.
