Marko Kutlić was born on May 18, 1995, in Slavonski Brod, Croatia, and moved to Zagreb at age six. His musical journey began in church choirs and gained momentum through YouTube covers of songs like “Tears Don’t Fall” and “Someone Like You.” In 2014, he co-founded the band Pravila Igre, whose debut single Nebo na mojoj strani became a hit in 2015.
Kutlić embarked on a solo career in 2017, releasing his debut single Srce se spasilo later that year. His debut album U kapi tvoje ljubavi (2019) was followed by the single Samo nek’ ona sretna je, which reached No. 1 on the Croatian HR Top 40 chart and earned him first place at the 67th Zagreb Festival.
He continued his success with singles including Kreni, Budi moja noć, and Zaplesala je s ljetom (a collaboration with Matija Cvek), as well as Uz nju, Zar svejedno je, Budiš me and the title track Poleti ptico. He promoted the 2023 album Poleti ptico with a showcase concert at Zagreb’s Maksi Pub, featuring duets and popular tracks from the album.
Kutlić is celebrated for his expressive vocals, emotionally charged lyrics, and dynamic stage presence. At the Melodije Jadrana festival in Split (2023), he premiered the song Kad god poželiš, noted for its distinctive visual and musical style. In late 2024–early 2025, he released Moram dalje, signaling a new chapter following a brief hiatus and a period spent in Italy performing under the stage name Marco Dolore in cities like Trieste.
Privately, Marko is a father of two sons and went through a divorce early in life. He remains deeply committed to music and personal growth, and continues to be one of the most recognizable young voices in the region.
