Kesha Rose Sebert, born March 1, 1987 in Los Angeles, is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, and actress. She first gained major attention in 2009 for her uncredited feature on Flo Rida’s Right Round, and then a global smash with her debut solo single TiK ToK, which became the best-selling digital track of 2010.
Her debut album Animal and follow-up EP Cannibal spawned a string of hits, followed by acclaimed albums Warrior (2012), Rainbow (2017), and High Road (2020). In 2023, after a long legal battle with producer Dr. Luke, she gained full control over her art.
Her final project under major-label terms, Gag Order (2023), was followed by her independent debut single Joyride under her own label, Kesha Records, in 2024.
