Ivica Sikirić, better known as Ićo, is a popular Dalmatian singer born in the coastal village of Bibinje. He began his music career in 1995 as the lead tenor of the klapa group Trogir, succeeding Vinko Coce. During his time with the group, Ićo developed his vocal style and gained recognition in the traditional music scene.
His solo career started in 1997 with a performance at the Zadarfest music festival, where he immediately captured attention. His first major success came with the song "Kad bi mogla priznati," followed by the release of his debut album Postelja od ruža in 2001. His breakthrough hit "Najlipša si" became a staple of Dalmatian pop ballads and earned him nationwide popularity.
In the years that followed, he released other successful tracks such as "Ovo tilo vire nema" and "Ribar sam star," a duet with Tomislav Bralić. After a brief hiatus, he made a notable return to the music scene with the song "Opet je jubin cilin tilon" and continues to perform across Croatia to large audiences.
Ićo’s musical style blends traditional Dalmatian sounds with contemporary pop, characterized by emotional expression and heartfelt lyrics. He remains a cherished voice on the Croatian music scene, especially among fans of coastal and klapa-inspired pop music.
