Ivana Selakov

Ivana Selakov was born on November 8, 1978, in Belgrade and raised in Sombor, where she completed her schooling and studied music from an early age. She showed a passion for performing early on, participating in competitions and singing in jazz and rock clubs. Initially enrolled in biology studies, she later shifted focus and graduated in sound design and music production from the Academy of Arts. She gained greater public attention as a member of the female vocal group Beauty Queens, formed after Marija Šerifović's Eurovision victory in 2007. With her strong vocal presence, Ivana quickly became a standout performer within the group. Her solo career took off shortly afterward under Grand Production. Her breakout hit came with the duet “Ako je do mene” alongside Darko Radovanović, earning her widespread popularity. Her debut album Sreća featured several hit songs and firmly established her as a leading figure in the pop-folk music scene. Her following albums, Probijam led and S.O.S., further solidified her career, with numerous successful singles and collaborations with prominent regional artists. In addition to singing, she works as a vocal coach and serves as a judge on children's music competitions. Privately, she is in a long-term relationship and is the mother of one child. Known for her powerful voice and emotional performances, Ivana Selakov remains a respected and beloved artist in the Balkan music scene.
