Iva i Gloria

Iva and Gloria are two friends, mothers, and cleaners who have tried several times to become actresses. Working in the theatre – even if just as cleaners – gives them the opportunity to stand on stage, feel the spotlight, and face reality and their own problems head-on. Enchanted by the stage, the set, and the props, they quickly abandon cleaning and step into the roles of two women from Zagreb, Dubrovnik, and Split. Through a humorous approach, they portray the harsh reality and bitterness of everyday people – on the street, at a café, in the neighborhood, even among friends and within their own families. Seemingly each other’s support system, our heroines, through performing various characters, begin to uncover truths about themselves that will come to the surface – and shake the foundation of their friendship.
