Ika, whose real name is Ivana Pevec, is a Croatian musician who began her solo career after her time as a member of the acclaimed rock band KOIKOI. After moving her artistic path from Belgrade to Zagreb, she started a new chapter of her musical journey, creating a distinctive sound that combines experimental elements, strong lyrical expression, and a unique atmosphere connecting the past, present, and future.
With her first three singles, “Beskonačno”, “Sram strah i ja”, and the playful duet “Klikeri” with Vića, Ika introduced her artistic world and opened the way for her debut album “Zadnji dan”. The album presents nine songs that the artist describes as farewell letters created between endings and beginnings, fears and love, collapsing worlds and those that are only beginning to emerge. Through her music, she explores themes of transformation, uncertainty, emotional struggles, and the possibility of new beginnings.
“Zadnji dan” is a genre-diverse album that combines different musical influences and creates a soundscape resembling a soundtrack for the end of the world while simultaneously announcing the beginning of something new.
