Gustafi is a Croatian folk rock band formed in 1980 in Vodnjan, a small town in Istria. The band was founded by Edi Maružin, Vlado Maružin, Čedomir Mošnja, Igor Arih, and Livio Morosin under the name Gustaph y njegovi dobri duhovi. They are known for their eclectic style that blends Istrian folk music with rock, blues, and Tex-Mex influences. They are considered one of the most prominent examples of the musical genre known as ča-val, a type of pop rock music accompanied by lyrics sung in the Chakavian dialect.
Over the years, Gustafi have undergone numerous lineup changes, but key members have remained consistent. Their musical repertoire includes several albums, and they are renowned for their energetic and visually rich live performances.
