Gogol Bordello

Gogol Bordello is an American punk rock band formed in 1999 in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Led by Ukrainian frontman Eugene Hütz, the band is known for energetic performances and a blend of punk rock with elements of Romani, Ukrainian, and Latin music. Their sound often includes accordion, violin, and saxophone, creating a unique atmosphere. Their music is often described as "gypsy punk," a fusion of punk energy and Romani musical tradition. Gogol Bordello gained international popularity through relentless touring and live performances. They also appeared in several films, most notably Everything Is Illuminated (2005), where Eugene Hütz had a leading role.
