Fäaschtbänkler is a Swiss band formed in 2008 in Kriessern, a region where Switzerland, Germany, and Austria meet. The group consists of five musicians: Andreas Frei, Roman Pizio, Roman Wüthrich, Marco Graber, and Michael Hutter. They are known for their high-energy blend of pop, rock, folk, electronic, and house music, a style they describe as “blowpop,” combining traditional instruments with modern beats.
Their debut album Oagasenn was released in 2012, followed by Orgasmusik (2014), Mitten in die Scheibe (2016), and breakthrough records Partyplanet and Alpaland (2018), which entered the charts in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. Subsequent releases include Mal so mal so (2019), Wir sehn uns wieder (2020), Flamingo + Hoch die Hände Wochenende (2022), Fäaschtbänkler Live (2023), VIVA (2024), and their latest, Der schönste Tag in meinem Leben (2025). Their hit singles “Can You English Please,” “Humpa Humpa,” and “Partyplanet” earned gold and platinum certifications with millions of streams worldwide.
