E.N.I. is a Croatian pop girl group founded in Rijeka in 1996, composed of Elena Tomeček Zdjelar, Nikolina Tomljanović, Ivona Maričić, and Iva Močibob. All members previously sang in the vocal ensemble Putokazi before forming their own quartet known for lush harmonies and polished pop.
They burst onto the national scene in 1997 by winning Dora with their song “Probudi me,” and went on to represent Croatia at Eurovision in Dublin, placing 17th. Their debut album Probudi me was released later that year. Their second album, Saten (1998), included hits like “Mi možemo sve,” “Kap po kap,” and “You’re the One.”
After a creative pause, they returned in 2003 with Da Capo, an album of cover songs marking their comeback. Over the years, they released Oči su ti ocean (2007), Crna kutija (2011), and a Best of compilation in 2008. The title track of the 2007 album earned them a Porin for Best Vocal Group and a nomination for Best Pop Album.
Known for collaborations with major Croatian artists such as Neno Belan, Let 3, Šajeta, Vava, and En Face, E.N.I. celebrated their 20-year anniversary in 2017 with a concert at Rijeka’s Zamet Center and released the uplifting single “To je moj dan,” written by Ivona Maričić and produced by Raay.
E.N.I. remain one of Croatia’s most enduring and beloved female pop groups, recognized for their long-lasting camaraderie, harmonious performances, and steady musical output.
