Jared Leonardo Lee, professionally known as Duckwrth, was born on May 13, 1989, in South Central Los Angeles. Raised in a Christian household and surrounded by music from an early age, he initially pursued graphic design before fully embracing music as his creative path.
He began by releasing songs online and gained wider attention in 2015 through a collaboration with The Kickdrums on the project Nowhere. In 2016, he released his debut album I’m Uugly, establishing a style that blends hip hop, R&B, and experimental sounds. This was followed by mixtapes and EPs including An Xtra Uugly Mixtape, The Falling Man, SG8, and Chrome Bull. His 2020 album SuperGood marked a significant evolution in his sound, reach, and artistic range.
