DRAŽEN ZEČIĆ

Dražen Zečić is one of Croatia’s most beloved and successful pop-folk performers, often dubbed the “king of entertainment.” Born in Split in 1967, he started his career in the early 1990s as a songwriter before winning acclaim with his festival hit “Govore mi mnogi ljudi” (1993) and the duet “Ima li nade za nas” with Anđela Kolar. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Zečić has released numerous albums including Boem u duši, Nitko nema dva života, Pokidat ću lance sve, and Srce moje iz bitaka sto. Almost all his records have achieved gold, platinum, or diamond status. He is renowned for his sold-out concerts at Zagreb’s Arena and Varaždin, where fans passionately sing along to his evergreen hits. Zečić is known for his heartfelt performances, poignant lyrics exploring love and resilience, and his warm engagement with the audience. Despite health challenges, including vocal and heart surgeries, he remains devoted to his art and fans. A family man at heart, he continues to find joy in both music and life.
