Djeca!

DJECA! is a Croatian garage rock band from Zagreb, formed in 2022. The band members are Bruno Žabek (vocals/bass), Benjamin Mjeržva (drums), Anja Papa (vocals/synth), and Luka Vidović (vocals/synth). Their sound combines untamed bass and drums with ambient, dark, and distorted synths, along with aggressive and melodic vocals, creating an unforgettable out-of-body experience. Inspired by the freedom of the mind, they create music that reaches its full potential during live performances. They believe in the power of music and the energy created among people. The band started realizing their three-year musical vision in the first half of 2022, when they presented their intense sound with the singles "Ti imaš sve" and "Seljačka buna." Their debut album Kad čuješ ovaj zvuk was released on November 11, 2022. The album was recorded at RSL Production Studio in Ljubljana with the help of Bojan Pahljina and Damir Rončević, while mixing and mastering were done by Niko Potočnjak. On the same day as the album release, they also released their third single "Kuća straha," accompanied by a fitting music video. DJECA! gained recognition for their energetic live performances, playing at numerous festivals and concerts across Croatia. The group is also known for forming an acronym of their city through the first three letters of their album titles.
