Bjesovi

Bjesovi is a Serbian alternative rock band formed in the late 1980s in Gornji Milanovac. Founded by Zoran Marinković and Goran Marić, the band originally performed under names like Baader-Meinhof and China Blue before adopting the name Bjesovi in 1990. They are known for their dual vocals, powerful blend of grunge and hard rock, and introspective lyrics often exploring religious and existential themes. Their debut album, U osvit zadnjeg dana (1991), was followed by the breakthrough self-titled album in 1994, praised for its emotional depth and dark sound. In 1997, they released Sve što vidim i sve što znam, featuring single-vocalist lineup and more spiritual content, after which the band first disbanded. A 2000 reunion led to Bolje ti (2009) and a 2015 reinterpretation album Svetla svetlosti, reaffirming their creative drive and refreshed sound. By 2023, Bjesovi had released six studio albums, experiencing hiatuses influenced by personal and spiritual circumstances. They planned another comeback in 2024. Known for their intense live performances at festivals and clubs, their music continues to resonate with energy and thoughtful introspection.
