Big Foot Mama is a Slovenian rock band formed in 1990 in Ljubljana. The lineup includes Boris Oštrek (vocals), Jure Pirc (guitar), Aleš Uranjek (guitar), Aljoša Šturm (bass), and Luka Kuhar (drums). They emerged with an energetic alternative rock style, drawing attention with their debut album Nova nevera (1993) for its authentic sound.
They consolidated their status with successful follow-up albums like Mi smo divovi (1995), Tretji svet (1997), and Ko pride lev (2000). Their music is characterized by catchy riffs, raw vocals, and introspective lyrics exploring personal and social themes.
