Andrea Bocelli is an Italian tenor and one of the world’s most celebrated performers bridging classical and popular music. He gained international attention after winning the newcomers’ category at the Sanremo Music Festival in 1994 with the song Il mare calmo della sera. Since then, he has released over 15 studio albums, several compilations, and nine operas, selling more than 90 million records globally.
His album Romanza is one of the best-selling of all time, while Sacred Arias remains the top-selling classical album by a solo artist.
