Zagreb Fair is one of Croatia’s leading exhibition and convention venues, with a tradition spanning more than 115 years. Through the organization of domestic and international trade fairs, business events, and exhibitions, it continues to contribute to the economic development of Zagreb and Croatia while providing a platform for companies to promote their products, exchange knowledge, and connect with international markets. Its roots lie in Zagreb’s long fair tradition, dating back to 1242, while the city hosted its first major international exhibition in 1864. A key milestone came in 1956, when the fairgrounds were relocated south of the Sava River, marking the beginning of a period of significant growth. Since 1925, Zagreb Fair has been a member and one of the founding institutions of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, reflecting its longstanding international importance. Today, it remains a major venue for trade fairs, conferences, business networking, and large public events.
