Arena Stožice, also known as Dvorana Stožice, is the largest indoor multi-purpose arena in Slovenia and one of Ljubljana’s main venues for sports and live entertainment. Located in the Bežigrad district as part of the Stožice Sports Park complex, the arena opened in 2010. It was designed by the Slovenian architectural studio Sadar + Vuga and is recognised for its modern design and distinctive dome-shaped structure. The venue has a seating capacity of more than 12,000 for sporting events and around 14,500 for concerts. Arena Stožice is the home court of basketball club KK Cedevita Olimpija and regularly hosts international basketball, handball, volleyball, and other sporting competitions. Over the years, the arena has also welcomed numerous internationally known music artists and large cultural events. With its modern infrastructure and diverse programme, Arena Stožice has become one of the region’s key destinations for sports, concerts, and large-scale entertainment events.
