The Mixed Choir "Roženice" Pazin was established in 1979 through the initiative of the then People's University of Pazin and choral music enthusiasts. Until 2002, the choir was led by maestro Nello Milotti, after which Professor Ines Kovačić Drndić took over as artistic director and later became the choir's president. The choir brings together members from various generations, including students, professionals, and retirees, and promotes social inclusion by involving individuals with disabilities. Its repertoire includes works by Istrian, Croatian, and international composers spanning different musical periods. The choir is known for innovative projects like the "Believe in Love" concert and participation in prestigious events such as the Christmas concert "Božić u Ciboni". It actively participates in international festivals, including MUSICA SACRA and Chorus Inside Croatia. In 2019, the choir celebrated its 40th anniversary of continuous work, and in 2023, it marked its 44th anniversary with a performance in Italy.
