Vanessa Mioč is a Croatian contemporary Christian singer who has established herself as one of the leading voices of
the country's modern worship music scene. Music has been an important part of her life from an early age, and she
has built her artistic career through original songs, live performances, and appearances at some of Croatia's
largest Christian music events. She is recognised for her warm vocal style, heartfelt performances, and songs that
convey messages of faith, hope, and encouragement.
Born in Switzerland, Mioč later moved to Croatia with her family. She received formal vocal training at the Husar &
Tomčić singing school, where she further developed her vocal technique and stage presence. From the beginning of her
career, she has been closely associated with Progledaj srcem, Croatia's largest contemporary Christian
music gathering. She initially appeared as a backing vocalist before becoming one of its featured performers,
describing evangelisation and bringing people together through music as central to her artistic mission.
Mioč gained wider recognition with the song Vjerujem, recorded in collaboration with Alan Hržica. The song
led to performances at the Christian Music Festival in Poland and the Jubilmusic – International Christian Music
Festival in Sanremo. Over the years, she has released a series of original singles, including Opet te
trebam, Bog si vjeran, Još, and Vjerujem, gradually establishing a distinctive
place within Croatia's contemporary Christian music community.
In 2025, she released her debut studio album, Vjerujem, marking an important milestone in her artistic
journey. The ten-track album reflects the themes that have shaped her music from the beginning—faith, God's love,
hope, and personal spiritual growth. According to Mioč, the songs were created with sincerity and simplicity,
encouraging listeners to recognise their own worth and find comfort in faith. The album's title also pays tribute to
her first original single, which launched her professional recording career.
Today, Vanessa Mioč performs regularly at concerts, festivals, and Christian worship events throughout Croatia while
continuing to expand her catalogue of original music. Through her authentic artistic approach, expressive voice, and
uplifting message, she has become one of the most recognisable representatives of the new generation of Croatian
contemporary Christian music artists.
