Petar Dragojević is a Croatian singer whose musical style is rooted in Dalmatian pop. He first gained public attention in 1997 when he appeared as a young debut artist at the Zadarfest music festival, marking the beginning of his professional music career. In the years that followed, he regularly performed at festivals and concerts, gradually building his reputation and audience.
He released his debut studio album Ovih dana in 2003. The album featured songs such as “Otvoren prozor,” “Ovih dana,” “Prva i jedina,” and “Rič po rič,” which became recognizable parts of his early career. This release established him as an artist with a strong emotional expression and a distinct Mediterranean musical style.
After several years, he released the album Sve boje moje duše, which included notable collaborations, including duets with Oliver Dragojević and Antonija Šola. These collaborations helped broaden his musical reach and introduced new dimensions to his work. In 2013, he released the album Istog smo roda, after which he again took a longer break from releasing new material.
Despite these recording pauses, Dragojević remained active as a live performer, appearing at concerts across Croatia and maintaining a strong connection with his audience. His music consistently reflects the characteristics of Dalmatian pop, with a focus on melody and emotional delivery.
In 2021, he renewed his focus on music, leading to a new phase in his career. In 2022, he released the album Za tebe, za mene, featuring songs such as “Vatra i voda.” This period marked a return to active recording and collaboration with established songwriters and producers.
In 2023, he began working with the record label Scardona, opening a new chapter in his artistic development. He continues to release new music and evolve his sound while maintaining the recognizable elements of his musical identity.
