Lea Dekleva

Lea Dekleva is a Croatian singer, songwriter, and composer, born on December 12, 1977, in Zagreb. She received her musical education in primary and secondary music schools, studying piano and oboe. During her career, she performed as a backing vocalist for well-known Croatian musical groups and artists. Her debut solo album titled emociJA was released in 2005. This album was significant as it was the first Croatian album available on a global digital music platform. Lea is the author of many songs for other artists, including some of the most recognized names in the Croatian music scene. Her song "Dogodila se ljubav," performed in collaboration with the band T.B.F., won prestigious music awards and was nominated for several important recognitions. She also received several nominations at national music festivals and awards, and her lyrics have been performed at major music events. Lea Dekleva is recognized as one of the most performed songwriters in Croatia. After a brief discographic hiatus, she returned to the music scene by performing at the Zagreb Festival in 2023 with the song "Na slobodi," performed with the band The Chord Company. Her performances and compositions are known for their emotional depth and strong connection with the audience.
