Klapa Kampanel is a Croatian vocal ensemble founded in 1996, renowned for blending traditional Dalmatian klapa singing with modern musical styles. They released their debut album Aj ća volin te in 2008, featuring reinterpretations of Pop and Funk influences, and covering Dino Dvornik’s hit Zašto praviš slona od mene. They earned a prestigious Porin award for “U poju se mala” — a standout track from that album.
In 2009, they recorded Live in Gavella in Zagreb’s famed Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, followed by their sophomore studio album Na putu do sna (2012) featuring radio favourites like “Niko se ne smije kao ti” and “Ča će mi Copacabana.” To date, Kampanel has released five albums — two studio records, two live albums, and one collaborative project.
They commemorated their 15th anniversary with a milestone concert at Lisinski, affirming their high artistic caliber and fan popularity. True to their roots, the ensemble performs in diverse settings — from concert stages to weddings, restaurants, streets, and theaters — embracing spontaneity and connecting with audiences in every setting.
Their ethos centers on authenticity and passion: lively performances, humorous and emotional repertoire, and direct audience interaction. With over two decades of music-making grounded in tradition and innovation, Klapa Kampanel stands out as a beloved and distinctive presence in Croatia’s musical landscape.
