Fabijan Pavao Medvešek

Fabijan Pavao Medvešek was born on December 30, 1992, in Zagreb. He is the son of actor-director Rene Medvešek and art educator Milena Medvešek. He comes from a prominent acting family, with his uncle Sven Medvešek and other relatives also active in theatre and screen. He studied sculpture in the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb before graduating in acting from the Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 2018, he became a member of the ensemble at Zagreb’s City Theatre “Komedija”, where he works as an actor-singer in plays and musicals. Fabijan has played significant television roles, among them Don Bože Dobroslavić in Na granici, and roles in Dar Mar. He gained broader public recognition after winning the sixth season of the show Your Face Sounds Familiar. In theatre, he has been highly praised for his musical roles; notably, his portrayal of Che in Evita earned him an award for Outstanding Young Artist under 30 in the operetta/musical category. In addition to acting, he is involved in singing and voice-over/dubbing work. Privately, he is married to Karla Abramović, whom he has known since high school, and is a father. He enjoys engaging in sports such as diving, crossfit, and mixed martial arts, and has passions for music and travel.
