Dominic David Fike is an American singer-songwriter and actor, born in Naples, Florida, on 30 December 1995. His music spans alternative hip-hop, rap rock, pop rock, indie pop and indie rock. Alongside singing, he plays guitar, drums and bass. He began learning guitar at ten, playing Red Hot Chili Peppers songs, and grew up listening to artists including Jack Johnson, Blink-182 and the Strokes.
Fike started uploading music online while still in high school. Around 2014, he began rapping under the name L$G and became involved in the local Naples music community. He first attracted wider attention through songs published on SoundCloud, working with producer Hunter Pfeiffer, known as 54.
In 2018, he signed with Columbia Records, which released his EP “Don't Forget About Me, Demos” that October. The single “3 Nights” became his international breakthrough, reaching the top ten in Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom. He followed it in 2019 with songs including “Açaí Bowl”, “Rollerblades” and “Phone Numbers”, alongside his “Rain or Shine” tour.
His debut album, “What Could Possibly Go Wrong”, arrived on 31 July 2020. During this period, he collaborated with Kevin Abstract and Halsey. In 2021, he featured on Justin Bieber’s “Die for You” and recorded his interpretation of Paul McCartney’s “The Kiss of Venus” for “McCartney III Imagined”.
In 2022, Fike took his first major acting role, playing Elliot in the second season of “Euphoria”. His film credits also include “Earth Mama” and “Junk”. He released his second studio album, “Sunburn”, in July 2023, preceded by singles including “Dancing in the Courthouse”, “Ant Pile” and “Mama’s Boy”. His song “Mona Lisa” also appeared in “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”.
Further releases included the EP “14 Minutes” in 2024 and the mixtape “Rocket” in 2025. He also formed the duo Geezer with Kevin Abstract. In 2026, he reissued “Babydoll” following its resurgence on social media. His third album, “How to Quit Smoking”, introduced by the singles “Wallflower” and “Small Town”, is scheduled for release on 30 October 2026.
