Belfast Food is a music band from Rijeka performing Irish folk, rock, and celtic punk since 1996. They are known for energetic performances and original songs that blend Irish musical tradition with a local sound. The band was formed by Marko Anić, Hrvoje Hodak, and Sebastian Mavrić, who began performing Irish songs during their high school years. Later, Erik Malnar, previously a member of GIPSS and Beatles Revival Band, joined them. After a joint performance in Pula in 1996, they decided to change the band’s name to Belfast Food. They have released several albums, including Live in Rijeka, Zašto zato, and Melodije Irske i Kvarnera. The band members are known for their dedication and originality and are considered important representatives of the Irish music scene in Croatia.
