Bayonne is the stage name of Roger Sellers, an American minimalist composer and electronic musician based in Austin, Texas. He is widely recognized for his distinctive approach to music-making, particularly his use of intricate looping techniques and engaging one-man live performances.
Before adopting the Bayonne moniker, Sellers released music under his own name, including the albums Moments (2011), 8 Songs (2012), and Primitives (2014). In 2016, he transitioned to the name Bayonne with the re-release of Primitives through Mom + Pop Music and City Slang, marking a new phase in his artistic identity.
His sound blends elements of electronic music, ambient, dream pop, and Americana, resulting in a layered and immersive listening experience.
