Barbara Bobak is a Serbian folk and pop-folk singer born on 16 June 1998 in Futog, near Novi Sad. Over the past few years, she has become one of the leading performers of the new generation on the Balkan music scene, recognized for her powerful vocals, contemporary interpretation of folk music, and energetic live performances. Through a combination of original songs, modern covers of classic hits, and an intensive touring schedule, she has built a strong fan base across Serbia and the wider region.
Bobak grew up in Futog, where she completed primary school and high school as an excellent student before enrolling in a university program in computer programming. Before pursuing music professionally, she worked as a copywriter for an Australian company and was also employed at a fitness center, aiming to become financially independent at an early age. She began singing seriously during her university studies, gaining valuable experience by performing with live bands at weddings and private events.
She first attracted wider public attention through her participation in the television competition Zvezde Granda. Although she did not advance far in the contest, the experience motivated her to continue developing her career independently.
