Ashnikko (born Ashton Nicole Casey on February 19, 1996, in Oak Ridge, North Carolina) is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter known for her genre-blending style combining alternative pop, electropop, and hip-hop.
She grew up in Greensboro, where she developed an early interest in music, influenced by a diverse range of genres introduced by her parents. Discovering rap music at a young age played a key role in shaping her artistic direction. During her teenage years, she lived in Estonia and Latvia before moving to London at 18 to pursue her music career more seriously.
Ashnikko began her career in 2016 by releasing music on SoundCloud, followed by EPs such as Sass Pancakes (2017), Unlikeable (2018), and Hi, It’s Me (2019). Her 2019 single “Stupid,” featuring Baby Tate, went viral on TikTok and marked her international breakthrough.
She gained further mainstream success with her mixtape Demidevil (2021), which included popular tracks like “Daisy” and “Slumber Party.” Her debut studio album Weedkiller (2023) and follow-up Smoochies (2025) solidified her presence on the global pop and alternative music scene.
