Željko Pervan

Željko Pervan is a Croatian actor, comedian, screenwriter, and stand-up performer from Zagreb. He began his career in the mid-1980s on Radio 101 as part of the satirical group “Zločesta djeca,” known for its provocative humor. He gained national fame in the 1990s with the TV show “Večernja škola,” where he played a fictional teacher and used improvisation to redefine the comedy scene in Croatia and the region. Following his TV success, he turned to stand-up comedy, performing in over 600 shows across Croatia and neighboring countries. Notable performances include “Reinkarnacija,” “Božanstvena komedija,” and “Na rubu Europe.” He also appeared in various radio and television programs, such as “Mala škola loše glume,” “Pervanovo,” and “Uzmi ili ostavi.” Privately, he is a family man, married to a veterinarian named Darija, with whom he has four daughters. They reside in Istria, where he embraced a quieter lifestyle after undergoing heart surgery. Despite challenges, he remains active in the comedy world and public life.
