IMPOSTOR, Thomas Noone Dance (Spain)
Impostor is a celebration of the incredible puppet-sculptures of Brasilian Andre Mello created by dancer
choreographer Barcelona based Thomas Noone. Eerie, dark, compelling, IMPOSTOR – a conversation with the fragments of
oneself and a search for unity. Complex yet direct, it plays on our desire to give life to these inanimate objects
supported by the evocative soundscape of Brighton composer Jim Pinchen and set within the austere yet suggestive
light installation of the Catalan Marc Lleixà.

A BEGINNING #16161D is a story of genesis. A piece for 5 singers equipped with portable lights, it takes us on a
theatrical journey from absolute darkness to blinding light, an invitation into a world of imagination where the
concepts of space and time are transformed. By listening to their voices, footsteps, and breath, you will become
part of a hypnotic interplay where movement, music, and light unite.
This visual and auditory spectacle blurs the lines between singing and dancing. In an incredible display, the
performers embody the seemingly incompatible within their own bodies: the movement you hear and the movement you
see. It is a powerful story about new beginnings, imagination, and an unpredictable future where space and time no
longer follow the rules.
