Masters of Dirt is a high-octane freestyle show from Austria, active since 1988. Featuring FMX, BMX, MTB, quad bikes, buggies, inline skates, and snowmobiles—the core idea: nothing with wheels stays on the ground.
Their annual Freestyle Showdown tours major arenas in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Audiences are treated to breathtaking stunts like snowmobile backflips, buggy aerials, BMX tucks, and quad tricks, all set to beats by DJ Mosken and accompanied by fire dancers (Fuelgirls), LED spectacles, and pyrotechnics—an immersive festival vibe.
Masters of Dirt defines itself not as a competition, but a lifestyle community—the M.O.D Family—a gathering of freestyle athletes, fans, and partners from around the globe. The show pushes riders to defy physics with signature tricks that often debut live.
The format blends FMX, mountain bike and BMX stunts, buggy and quad action, and dramatic fire-mounted performances. In 2025, the show returns with Freestyle Showdown, touring about ten major European cities.
Notably, a special collaboration with MOTÖRHEAD introduces the Fire Segment: 50 Years of Motörhead, featuring a flaming “Flame Bike” stunt synced with Motörhead tracks and fiery performances by the Fuelgirls—an adrenaline-powered tribute to rock and freestyle spirit.
