House of Protection is an American musical duo from Los Angeles, operating at the intersection of electronic rock, hardcore, and experimental music. Formed in 2024 by Stephen Harrison and Aric Improta following their departure from Fever 333, the project represents a new creative chapter for both artists.
Driven by a desire for complete artistic freedom, the duo explores a wide range of influences, blending hardcore punk, electronic music, post-punk, and alternative rock into a distinctive and high-energy sound.
Although neither member had previously served as a lead vocalist, they share vocal duties in the project, further emphasizing its experimental and collaborative nature. Their debut single “It’s Supposed to Hurt” was released in 2024 and quickly gained attention, partly due to its collaboration with producer Jordan Fish.
Later that year, they released their debut EP Galore, a bold statement of their artistic direction and genre-blending approach. In 2025, they followed up with their second EP Outrun You All, further expanding their sonic and conceptual scope.
House of Protection quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting emerging acts in the alternative music scene, performing internationally and collaborating with notable artists. Their vision centers on creating a “safe space” for creativity, where experimentation and authenticity are key.
With their genre-defying sound and intense live performances, House of Protection represents a new wave of artists pushing the boundaries of contemporary alternative music.
