Elvis Jackson is a Slovenian band from Ajdovščina, formed in late 1997. The lineup includes David “Buda” Kovšca (vocals, trumpet), Erik “Slavc” Makuc (bass), Boštjan “Berto” Beltram (guitar), and Marko “Soki” Soršak (drums). Their sound blends ska-punk, reggae, hardcore, and metal, and they are known for explosive live performances full of positive energy and crowd engagement.
Their debut album Move Your Feet It’s One O’Clock came out in 1999, followed by Go Home and Practice (2000) and Summer Edition (2003), the latter released throughout Europe and Japan. In 2009 they released Against the Gravity, recorded in collaboration with Bill Gould of Faith No More—a complex, high-energy record with socially conscious lyrics.
Elvis Jackson have played over 600 shows across Europe at major festivals like Sziget and Exit and shared stages with acts like Faith No More, The Offspring, and Sepultura. They were named Best Band and Rock Artist of the Year 2011 by the listeners of UK radio Somojo. In 2025 they announced We Play For You, their first new album in over a decade, featuring new guitarist Marty Favento replacing longtime member Berto.
