Ana Rucner

Ana Rucner is an internationally recognized Croatian cellist, known for blending classical, modern, and ethnic music in a unique performance style. Educated in Zagreb, she developed her distinctive artistic identity by incorporating the electric cello and visually captivating performances. With over 1,000 shows across more than 30 countries, Ana has become a cultural ambassador of Croatia, promoting music through open-air concerts and innovative projects. She comes from a musical family—her mother is a solo cellist, her father a violist, and her brother also a musician. Ana has enriched her musical expression through original festivals such as “Ana u Gradu” in Dubrovnik and represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016. Beyond music, she is socially engaged—participating in humanitarian efforts and educational initiatives, and she was elected to the Zagreb City Assembly. Known for her collaborations with various artists, unique video productions, and for showcasing Croatia’s natural beauty through music, Ana bridges the gap between art and tourism. Ana Rucner remains one of the most original and dynamic musicians in the region, continuously merging artistry, public engagement, and cultural promotion in her multifaceted career.
