Picksiebner is a country rock band from Zagreb, Croatia, formed in 2003. The band members include Marko Bregant (guitar, vocals), Vedran Ciprijanović (bass, vocals), Gordan Ilenić "Gringo" (drums), Zoran Perić "Zoki" (banjo, guitar, vocals), Andrija Lazo (accordion, guitar), and Krešo Oremuš (harmonica), who occasionally collaborates with the group. Their style is an energetic blend of country, blues, and rock, often described as "hard country."
The band started by performing covers of classic country and blues songs, reinterpreted with a powerful and dynamic approach. Their first original single, "Thank You Jesus!", gained significant radio and TV attention. In 2007, they released their debut album of the same name, featuring distinctive covers such as "Cotton Fields," "Ring of Fire," and "Crosstown Traffic."
Their second album, Trkaća Svinja (2009), further solidified their position in the Croatian music scene. The album featured collaborations with musicians like violinist Dražen "Fidle" and pedal steel guitarist Davor Rodik. It also included guest appearances by well-known Croatian artists like Goran Bare and the band Hladno pivo.
