Justice are back! We already knew four songs from the new album: "Audio, Video, Disco", "Civilization", "Newlands" and "Helix". The stylistic change was already apparent in these tracks: Justice have become rock, yes, even hard rock – anything but a "Cross 2.0". First critics even compare the songs with AC/DC. Other new album tracks such as “Brianvision”, “Horsepower” and “Ohio” support that interpretation: the French band is reminiscent of Queen and movie soundtracks of the 80s, and there is a Manfred Mann vibe to the vocals. Not a bad development, although the new style takes some getting used to. Epic guitar parts and synthies turn the tracks into hymns and stick with the listener. Like Justice’s debut, “Audio, Video, Disco” isn’t just good – it’s great!
